This donation will go such a long way towards the feed and medical care for one deserving animal. It also makes a great gift for that special animal lover who has everything.
It takes approximately $75,000 per year to feed, house & provide veterinary care, for the 200+ animals who live at Sara's Sanctuary. Every dollar raised is used strictly for the direct care and maintenance of the animals. Unlike most rescues, Sara's Sanctuary has NO paid staff, NO paid directors, and NO administrative fees. All those who work at Sara's Sanctuary do so on a purely voluntary basis.
Every time a new abused or disabled animal comes into the Sanctuary, we assess its physical injuries and decide if it requires a visit to the veterinarian. This takes away from the normal, non-emergency operating budget. Donations from our caring community make this type of care possible.
